I think I had too much cheese last night...

And in case you were wondering, I was always told as a little girl that if you had cheese before you went to bed, you had strange dreams. Well, I had the strangest of strange dreams last night and it sort of worried me a little when I thought about it this morning. This was a waking dream, which I don't usually have, but it was so real and so vivid I had to share it.

I was either a prisoner or a servant in a really big old castle on a cliff top - it was all modern day,no fancy medieval fantasy ballgowns and stuff. I knew I couldn't leave and that I worked there but nothing else about it that I knew at all. Anyways, I was on the stairs of this castle and the next thing I knew I had collapsed because I had felt incredibly faint and almost ill. Then a grey-haired, oldish looking man walked towards me and knelt down. I did get the feeling he was really evil and he said to me "You will be my new hand of the dark." He picked me up and somehow my energy was back (you know how dreams are) then led me up to a library I had never known existed before where a lot of experiments were being done to people. The man wanted me to take part in these experiments too, but I refused to and he said I could be experimented on instead. Somehow, nothing could happen to me, something wasn't let anything happen. That's when I woke up.

Sorry, I must be rambling again, but this is the first time in about 4 or 5 years that I've had such a vivid and memorable dream as this. It really made me think. Anyways, enough of my rambling...

Really could've used a hug after this one.
